Human Beauty is a lesson in life drawing

GALLERY 127’s latest exhibition, ‘Human Beauty’ is an exhibition comprising works which may seem, at first glance, to capture the atmosphere of a life drawing class.
While the presentation of Lewis McGregor’s works may challenge conventional ideas about presentation of works – framed versus unframed – in the context of an exhibition, persist and you will be rewarded with a viewing experience that is both instructive and provides insights into the artistic approach to life drawing when working directly with a human model.
Gallery 127’s exhibition of Lewis McGregor’s life drawings starts on Friday 4 October and concludes on Monday 28 October, so will be open right through Avoca’s mega ‘Kaleidoscope’ weekend at the end of October.
